Spanish Resources During Social Isolation

Click here for a list of Spanish vocabulary for kids, organized by week and theme.

Games – Indoor

Hangman
Hangman is great, especially using months, body parts, colors, and written out numbers.

Simon Says
For the younger kids especially this is a great one. It helps them remember and integrate body
parts.
“Simón dice..”

Games – Outdoor

Freeze Tag
Pick one kid to be it. If they’re tagged and frozen, they have to stay that way until you or
another designated student comes and asks them to answer a couple questions. Examples:
● Two or three colors in Spanish
● Two or three animals
● Count to 10, 20, etc.
● Two body parts

Red Light Green Light
The kids love this one. Instead of red light and green light, I just have them use “red” (rojo) and
“green” (verde).
